Big Lake Guest House
The 1230 square feet Big Lake Guest House is well equipped and furnished for your comfort. This vacation rental is in a delightfully private setting and will sleep six, has a full kitchen, living room, full bath, satellite TV, VCR/DVD, telephone, private washer/dryer, and an outside barbecue.
This two-story house has one bedroom (full size bed) on the first floor, and a wide open span with sleeping and entertainment on the second floor (1 king, 1 full bed).
At this quiet and secluded house, the lake and mountain view is easily admired from the large windows and wrap around deck. The immense yard is 2.5 acres of lawn, native trees, apple trees and plenty of room for sunning and playing.

Boating, Jetskiing, fishing (coho salmon, dolly varden, and lake trout), ice fishing, snowmobiling, vast trail system a quarter mile away, and fine dining at the Islander Bar and Grill on Long Island one-eighth mile away. The Iditarod and Iron Dog races are run nearby across Big Lake. This house provides great viewing and overlooks the start of the Iron Dog race just an eighth-mile away. Two pair of bald eagles have nested one-half mile away and can be seen catching and carrying their fish dinner overhead, back and forth, to their hungry young in the summer.
With Anchorage just 90 minutes away, the Big Wild City life isn't far. Anchorage is filled with shopping malls, museums and many attractions for visitors.
