Big Lake Guest House
The 1230 sq. ft. Big Lake Guest House is well equipped and furnished for your comfort. This vacation rental is in a very private setting, will sleep 6, has a full kitchen, living room, full bath, satellite TV, VCR/DVD, telephone, private washer/dryer, and an outside BBQ.
This two-story house has one bedroom (full size bed) on the first floor and a wide, open span with sleeping and entertainment on the second floor (1 King, 1 full bed).
At this quiet and secluded house, the unprecedented beauty of the lake and mountain view is easily admired from the large windows and wrap-around deck. The immense yard is 2.5 acres of lawn, native trees, apple trees, and plenty of room for sunning and playing.

Big Lake is a small community connected by outdoor recreation. With a food-mart, gift shop, gas station, movie rental, post office and automotive shop, basic needs are available for a great vacation.
Amenities of the Resort/Surrounding Community
Enjoy boating, water skiing, jet skiing, fishing (Coho salmon, dolly varden, and lake trout), ice fishing, snowmobiling, a vast trail system ¼ mile away, and fine dining at the Islander Bar and Grill on the Island, 1/8th mile away. The Big Lake 500 and Iron Dog snowmobile races run across Big Lake. This house provides great viewing and overlooks the start of the Iron Dog race just 1/8th mile away. Two pair of bald eagles have nested 1/2 mile away and can be seen catching and carrying fish in their talons, back and forth, to their hungry young in the summer.
With Anchorage just 90 minutes away, the Big Wild "city" Life isn’t far. Anchorage is filled with shopping malls, museums, and many attractions for visitors.
